The work consists of a series of irregularly arranged lines radiating from the centre, each inscribed with instructions for their execution. . It is part of the Wall Drawing series, which began in 1968 following a publication on the fundamental principles of drawing. The series comprises some 700 works formed by a set of instructions for making or commissioning a drawing on a wall, the wall drawing and a certificate of authenticity; in this case, the instructions refer to a work destined for Spoleto. The elements of the drawing are so immaterial that they can be transmitted remotely, allowing the work to be realised on the wall by someone other than the artist.
