The three notebook pages outline the stages of the performance and detail the photographic shots to be taken during the action; it serves as a kind of storyboard, with the artist’s foot positions sketched in minimal lines. The performance, entitled Le Corps Pressenti, took place in Innsbruck and is documented here by some photographs taken by Françoise Masson: the artist’s body, initially closed within itself, opens up to the community, in order to provoke a reaction from the audience. The pain that Pane inflicts on herself becomes a social, poetic and political issues.
