Saturday, October 4, 2025 – Free workshop at CAMeC for AMACI’s Contemporary Art Day
On Saturday, October 4, 2025 we celebrate the 21st edition of AMACI’s Contemporary Art Day with Forme in libertà, a free workshop open to children, teenagers, and adults.
The initiative, conceived and led by Dr. Claudia Rifaldi, will guide participants in exploring the museum’s permanent collection, transforming impressions and inspirations into one large collective artwork. Throughout the day, admission to CAMeC will be free.
How the workshop works
Participants will follow a path that begins with an interactive visit to the works on display and continues in the workshop. Each person will create a personal shape, painted onto a large white canvas. Together, these will compose a collective artwork: a shared memory of the day and a symbol of this celebration of contemporary art.
Who it is for
The workshop is designed for two age groups:
- children aged 6–10, 10.30 am – 12.30 p.m.
- participants aged 11 and up, 3.30 pm – 5.30 p.m.
CAMeC and AMACI’s Contemporary Art Day
The Contemporary Art Day, promoted by AMACI with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture, involves each year the 26 member museums and over a thousand cultural institutions across Italy, all opening their doors free of charge. The 2025 edition focuses on the theme of education and training, understood as learning, research, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
