On Friday, May 15, at 6:00 pm, CAMeC Books presents a new event dedicated to Piccola biografia di periferie by Linda Miante, published by De Ferrari. The author will be in conversation with journalist Chiara Tenca, with readings by Luca Cambiganu.
With Piccola biografia di periferie, Linda Miante builds a poetic map made of margins, crossings and urban wounds. The periphery becomes both a physical and symbolic place, as well as an inner condition: a space where desires, fragilities and possibilities remain suspended.
An emotional geography of the margins
In the book, the periphery is not only an area far from the centre, but a territory of experience. It is the place where reality appears in its rawest form, ambitions seem held back, and poetry becomes an attempt at crossing, a way of moving beyond appearances.
Through the three sections of the collection, Sentieri liminali, Ordalia and Lux orta est iusto, the author gives voice to a tense and intense emotional landscape, where light and shadow alternate without ever being simplified.
The book at the centre of the conversation
At CAMeC, Piccola biografia di periferie will be at the centre of a conversation between Linda Miante and journalist Chiara Tenca. The event will be accompanied by readings by Luca Cambiganu, giving voice to the texts and atmospheres of the collection.
An opportunity to engage with a form of writing that looks at the margins not as places to be explained, but as spaces to be listened to, crossed and recognised.
