Join us at 5 pm for a closer look at Francesco Clemente’s works, accompanied by our museum team.
On Sunday 1 November at 5 pm, join us for a free guided tour of Francesco Clemente. Opere 1975-1980. Il primato del disegno, curated by Francesco Guzzetti, with artistic direction by Arturo Galansino.
Led by our museum team, the tour will take a closer look at the works on display and the details that help us understand a significant period in Clemente’s artistic development.
Drawing as an independent artistic language
Between 1975 and 1980, the period covered by the exhibition, drawing became central to Clemente’s practice. More than a preparatory tool, it emerged as an independent artistic language through which he experimented with forms, images and symbols.
Together, we’ll examine the works and explore the techniques Clemente used, gaining insight into the development of his artistic language during these years.
The event is organised in collaboration with Amici del CAMeC.
