Fabrizio Prevedello at CAMeC: art and landscape in dialogue

Friday, September 5 at 7 pm – presentation of the Villa Bianca catalogue and inauguration of a new installation in the museum store

Friday evenings at CAMeC mean open doors to art. As part of the Venerdì del CAMeC series, on Friday, September 5 at 7 pm artist Fabrizio Prevedello will take part in a public conversation with partnership director Antonio Grulli, art historian Francesca Cattoi (curator of his solo exhibition at CAMeC in 2014), collector Maurizio Cozzani, and curator Gabriele Tosi.
The focus of the evening will be the presentation of the Villa Bianca catalogue, which documents seven site-specific sculptures created by Prevedello for the residence of collectors Giorgia Maggiani and Maurizio Cozzani in Coregna, on the hills of La Spezia.

Villa Bianca: a project between art and landscape

The Villa Bianca volume presents a project where sculpture engages in a silent and powerful dialogue with the landscape, following the tradition of land art. Photographs by Davide Marcesini and Leonardo Morfini, together with texts by Antonio Grulli and Gabriele Tosi, capture the complexity of an intervention that intertwines architecture, nature, and artistic vision.

A new installation in the CAMeC store

At the end of the conversation, Fabrizio Prevedello will inaugurate an installation in the museum store, transforming it into a project room dedicated to artistic interventions.

Spoiler: CAMeC off

The works of Villa Bianca will become part of the CAMeC off project and will be freely visible from the public road. An experience accessible to all, fully in line with the museum’s mission of engaging with the local territory.

The Friends of CAMeC

The event is promoted by the Amici del CAMeC Association, which supports the museum’s activities and contributes to its growth with dedicated initiatives and projects.
