The work is an assemblage of a 26-inch television set without the cathode ray tube with a partially consumed wax candle inside the case. It reflects on the role of television, which has replaced traditional sources of lighting and social gathering in the domestic space. This is the typical work of the Korean artist, one of the most internationally renowned of the Fluxus movement, who uses the ready-made television as a medium of expression, either by altering it or combining different devices, to create monumental installations.
