Fotosintesi. Fotografie dalla Collezione Carla Sozzani

Organised in collaboration with Fondazione Sozzani, the exhibition features around 150 works selected from Carla Sozzani’s private collection. The exhibition journey moves across different languages and genres – from fashion to reportage, from the investigation of the body to visual experimentation – offering a broad and articulated view of photography as an artistic practice. Among the artists on display are Helmut Newton, Sarah Moon, Paolo Roversi, Man Ray, Alfred Stieglitz and Francesca Woodman, alongside many other figures who have helped shape the contemporary photographic gaze. The selection is curated by Maddalena Scarzella.

Lasting approximately one hour, the guided tour leads participants through the exhibition spaces, providing interpretative insights, historical context and critical perspectives on the works on display. An opportunity to understand the value of the collection and the role played by Carla Sozzani in building one of the most significant photographic collections in Europe.
