A collective performance of movement, colour and participation. As part of AND Festival
On Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 6:45 PM, CAMeC hosts Scia, the national premiere performance by the artist Lunella Cherchi. An event that fuses contemporary dance, music and painting in a participative action open to all. The initiative is part of the programme of AND Festival – festa del Fantin, the series dedicated to street theatre and contemporary circus organised by Artificio23 with the Municipality of La Spezia, in collaboration with Fondazione Carispezia and the ARIA Cultural Association.
A danced journey through the galleries
The performance begins at the museum entrance. Lunella Cherchi will lead participants on a danced journey through the galleries, transforming the visit into a physical and immersive experience. The choreographic gesture becomes a way to inhabit the exhibition space in a new, engaging and sensory manner.
A collective performance on the terrace
The journey concludes on CAMeC’s panoramic terrace. Here the audience is invited to participate actively, using drawing tools and paint. Each person can translate into lines and colours the impressions born from movement and music, leaving a personal trace. Body and colour become means to tell what has been experienced.
Within AND Festival, beyond boundaries
Scia is one of the events in the 2025 programme of AND Festival, taking place in La Spezia from 4 to 6 July. Three days featuring around 30 free appointments—including performances, workshops, urban sports, storytelling and games—to bring the city’s squares and streets to life with Italian and international companies as well as local ensembles. What unfolds at CAMeC is a proposal that unites the language of the body with the visual, in full harmony with the festival’s open and plural spirit.
