For the CAMeC Books series, a meeting with Jacopo Benassi and Giulia Cenci to present their book Pietraia
On Friday, March 27 at 6:00 PM, we will host at CAMeC the presentation of Pietraia, a volume published by Nero that stems from the encounter between Jacopo Benassi and Giulia Cenci.
The evening will be dedicated to the dialogue between different artistic languages, where sculpture and photography intertwine in a visual and conceptual exchange.
An encounter between matter and gaze
Pietraia takes shape from the work of Giulia Cenci, whose metal sculptures are crossed by Jacopo Benassi’s lens. His radical gaze transforms matter into image, creating intense visions made of light, contrast, and tension.
An editorial project to explore
The conversation will be led by Antonio Grulli, curator of the volume, who will guide the audience through the dynamics of the editorial and artistic project, between images, research, and experimentation.
