Workshops for children aged 6 to 11 also arrive at the CAMeC as part of the project “Divertiamoci imparando nei Musei e nelle Biblioteche” promoted by the Municipality of La Spezia. The first appointment is on Sunday, October 12.
From October 2025 to January 2026, we are taking part in “Divertiamoci imparando nei Musei e nelle Biblioteche”, a program promoted by the Municipality of La Spezia to bring children and families closer to cultural spaces.
Through workshops, creative paths, and shared experiences, we offer opportunities that combine curiosity, play, and discovery, making contemporary art an accessible language for everyone.
Growing Together Through Art
The museum confirms itself as a space to be experienced — a place where children and adults can explore, create, and share ideas.
Our workshops are born from the desire to stimulate imagination and invite participants to observe artworks, experiment with different techniques, and give shape to their own way of representing the world.

Graphic Experimentations. The Language of Signs
On the occasion of F@Mu – Families at the Museum Day, we will guide children in discovering the symbols and signs used by contemporary artists. During the workshop, each participant will trace the outline of their body on paper, turning it into an imprint to fill with signs, colors, and materials — creating a unique and personal visual language.

Perspectives in Flight
Inspired by the Futurist works on display, and in particular by Pippo Oriani’s triptych Simultaneità magiche del Golfo (Magical Simultaneities of the Gulf), we will explore together the language of aeropainting. Using collage, photographic cut-outs, drawing, and painting, participants will create their own vision of the Gulf of La Spezia — a composition suspended between dynamism and imagination.

Artists’ Greetings
During the Christmas season, we will turn the museum into a small workshop of creativity. Inspired by the works on display, we’ll use fine papers, sheet music, stencils, and colors to create special greeting cards — small works of art to give to those we love.
The Museum as a Place for Connection
With these workshops, we want to continue making CAMeC an open, welcoming, and vibrant place where art becomes an experience, a dialogue, and a shared game.
The program “Divertiamoci imparando nei musei e nelle biblioteche”, supported by Coop Liguria, will accompany children and families throughout the autumn and Christmas season — up to Epiphany 2026 — with a rich calendar of events in the city’s museums and libraries.
