Thanks to a new agreement between CAMeC and the Cinque Terre National Park, both residents of the Park area and visitors with a Cinque Terre Card can now access the museum’s exhibitions for free.
The CAMeC – Center for Modern and Contemporary Art of La Spezia – and the Cinque Terre National Park have signed a three-year agreement that marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration between contemporary art, landscape, and local communities. Their shared goal is to create an integrated cultural offering that highlights the area’s natural and artistic heritage, providing a richer experience for both residents and visitors.
Free admission to the museum
With this agreement in place, Cinque Terre Card holders and residents of the Park area are entitled to free admission to CAMeC. This initiative provides a concrete opportunity to bring new audiences closer to contemporary art and to further establish the museum as a cultural landmark in the region.
CAMeC artworks in the heart of the Park
The partnership also includes a symbolic and cultural exchange: each year, a selected piece from the CAMeC collection will be exhibited at one of the National Park’s sites, creating an ongoing dialogue between art and landscape. Joint events and initiatives will also be organized, tailored to a broad and international audience.
An open and accessible cultural network
This collaboration is part of a broader vision of an integrated cultural ecosystem that connects art, history, and nature. Now at the center of a major renewal project, CAMeC is reaffirming its role as a dynamic and accessible space—ready to welcome new visitors and offer fresh narratives that interpret the present while honoring the cultural roots of the region.
