Sunday, June 8 – First event of CAMeC )off(, the new format designed to bring together the museum and local surroundings: taste, storytelling, and contemporary art over breakfast
With CAMeC )off(, the Centre for Modern and Contemporary Art of La Spezia launches a new series of cultural events that bring the art beyond the museum walls, engaging local communities and urban spaces. The first event will take place on Sunday, June 8, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, in the charming garden of Le Clarisse di Apolline, nested beneath San Giorgio Castle.
A creative brunch with chef Apolline
In the heart of the historic center of La Spezia, chef Apolline – French-born and La Spezia-based – will present a seasonal and original brunch featuring homemade desserts, sweet and savory crêpes, yogurt with honey and muesli, fresh fruit, lemonade and sparkling wine. A convivial moment that fuses food and culture in an informal and inspiring setting.
Morandi and Fontana: a story to discover
While enjoying the brunch, museum educator Claudia Rifaldi will offer an engaging introduction to the temporary exhibition “Morandi Fontana. Invisibile e Infinito”. Designed to be accessible and inspiring, the talk will help participants connecting with the artists’ work before visiting the exhibition. Each guest will receive an exhibition admission ticket valid until September 14, 2025.
