Join us on Friday 6 November 2026 at 6.30 pm for Mapping the Absurd Archive, a new CAMeC Live event bringing together musical improvisation and live performance. We welcome the international trio of Yoko Miura on piano, Per Gärdin on saxophones and Lars Bröndum on live electronics, alongside performer Angela Teodorowsky. Admission is free, subject to capacity.
The trio’s music follows no fixed route. It develops through close listening: each gesture invites a response, opens a possibility or changes the course of the performance. Piano melodies and chords meet the sounds of saxophones, modular synthesisers and theremin, moving between familiar musical ideas and unexpected textures.
Performing together since 2022, the musicians approach improvisation as a shared form of composition. What the audience hears takes shape in the moment, through the exchange between the players and their response to the space and those listening.
Angela Teodorowsky adds a visual dimension through a performance built around repeated gestures, symbolic objects and surreal imagery. She marks out a square on the floor with tape, placing red and green crosses and other objects inside it, as though assembling a small wunderkammer or cabinet of curiosities. Wearing a Cubist-inspired mask, she performs a series of actions accompanied by a spare live soundscape.
Her performance brings another language into the evening, as gestures, objects and the presence of the body unfold alongside the changing sounds.
We present this event in collaboration with Associazione Amici del CAMeC.
