A workshop to explore landscapes, details and imagination
On Friday, 5 June, at 5.00 pm, CAMeC Lab returns with Fragments of World, an art workshop for children aged 6 to 12 curated by Claudia Rifaldi.
Inspired by the temporary exhibition, the activity invites participants to shift their point of view: to open their gaze towards the horizon of a landscape, then move closer and notice a shape, a light, an almost hidden trace.
From wide open space to the smallest detail
The workshop will begin with an interactive guided visit through the works on display. Children will be led through an experience of observation, questions and associations, discovering how a landscape can be at once a real place, a mental image, a memory and an emotion.
Macro and micro, overall view and detail, outer nature and inner world will become tools for reading the artworks and creating new images.
A book of personal visions
After the visit, each participant will create a series of landscape fragments on A5 cards, drawing inspiration from the works they have seen, the memories that have surfaced and the sensations gathered during the activity.
Page after page, a small personal illustrated book will take shape: a collection of possible worlds, unexpected details and moments of wonder to take home.
