A creative workshop for children to welcome Christmas at the museum
On Sunday 21 December, at 5.00 pm, we fully immerse ourselves in the Christmas atmosphere with Auguri d’artista, a workshop for children aged 6 to 11. The activity is part of the programme Divertiamoci imparando nei musei e nelle biblioteche and invites young participants to create a truly special greeting card inspired by works from our collections.
An afternoon of art and imagination
Creativity is the key word of this workshop experience. At the heart of the activity are making, touching and combining different materials: precious papers, musical scores, coloured cardboards, stencils and plenty of colour become tools for experimentation and for giving shape to ideas, guided by the observation of the works on display.
Finding inspiration in the artworks
Everything starts from the museum’s collections. Together with the children, we look for suggestions, details, colours and shapes that can be transformed into personal signs. A simple and engaging way to discover how art can become a source of inspiration even in small, everyday gestures.
A truly special greeting card
During the workshop, each participant creates their own greeting card, unique and highly personal. An object to take home, born from a shared experience that brings together creativity, manual skills and imagination.
