Also featured will be <em>L\u2019urgenza del dipingere<\/em>, a monograph with a critical essay by Alberto Mattia Martini, exploring Baricchi\u2019s intense and evolving painting practice.<\/p><p><strong>In conversation with Mattia Lapperier<\/strong><\/p><p>Art historian <strong>Mattia Lapperier<\/strong> will join Baricchi in a conversation that will offer the public an in-depth view of the artist\u2019s process: painting as physical action, dynamic thinking, and expressive gesture.<\/p><p><strong>The artist&#8217;s path<\/strong><br \/>Mirko Baricchi was born in La Spezia in 1970. After working in Mexico as an illustrator, he returned to Italy in the late 1990s to devote himself fully to painting. He now lives and works in Vicenza.
